DAY 01 – DEPART FOR DELHI

DAY 02 – ARRIVE DELHI – Vivanta Ambassador
Arrive Delhi and after checking in at your hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 03 – DELHI
Today, after breakfast, you will enjoy a full day private guided sightseeing tour of New & Old Delhi taking in all the major sights of this amazing Capital City.

DAY 04 – DELHI TO CHANDIGARH – The Oberoi Sukhvilas Resort & Spa
An enjoyable car journey to Chandigarh which will take approximately 4.5 hours. Stop enroute and enjoy one of the many eateries on the highway. On arrival check in to your hotel and the rest of the day is to relax in the luxury 5-star property.

DAY 05 – CHANDIGARH
After a leisurely morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Chandigarh, designed by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. You’ll marvel at this grand city’s design. Later, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

DAY 06 – CHANDIGARH

DAY 07 – CHANDIGARH TO NURPUR BEDI in the foothills – Kikar Lodge
After a leisurely morning, depart by road travelling into the foothills to the little district of Nurpur Bedi in the Rupnagar district of Punjab. You’ll enjoy half-board lodging today.

DAY 08 – NURPUR BEDI
Leisure day to enjoy the local activities, see below. You’ll enjoy full-board lodging today.

DAY 09 – NURPUR BEDI
Another day at leisure before you make your way to Amritsar and watch the amazing Wagah Border ceremony. You’ll enjoy full-board lodging today.

DAY 10 – NURPUR BEDI TO AMRITSAR – Ranjit’s Svaasa
After breakfast drive to Amritsar. On arrival at leisure until we depart for the border this evening for the flag waving, patriate shouting banter between Pakistan and India… in our opinion, this is the highlight for anyone visiting the border!

DAY 11 – AMRITSAR
Visit the Golden Temple and the surrounding area which can only be described as a foodie’s paradise. Must try food includes Amritsari Fish tikka; seekh kebabs; chana bhatura; saag and maki di roti and a stroll down Paranthe vale gaali (street of breads). Make sure you buy some souvenirs from here to take back home including freshly ground spices. Our guide will take you on a walking tour to ensure you enjoy the sights and sounds of this amazing destination.

DAY 12 – AMRITSAR TO UK
You have the option to fly back to UK from Amritsar (nonstop with Air India to Birmingham and Gatwick) or fly back to Delhi for your flight back to the UK.

Visit Gurudwara Amb Sahib: This historical Sikh shrine is located in the vicinity of Nurpur Bedi. It holds religious significance and attracts devotees from far and wide.

Explore Rupnagar (Ropar): Nurpur Bedi is close to Rupnagar, which has several attractions including the Rupnagar Fort, which dates back to the 16th century, and the Archaeological Museum which houses artifacts from the Indus Valley Civilization.
