DAY 01 – FLY TO COCHIN
Fly to Cochin via Dubai with Emirates Airlines. Our lead in prices are based on economy return flights with Emirates. However, we offer all classes of service on all major airlines at the best prices in the industry.

DAY 02 – ARRIVE COCHIN
Arrive, meet & greet then transfer to your hotel. This is the hotel famously showcased in The Real Marigold Hotel TV series, where celebrities embarked on their unforgettable retirement adventures in India. Needless to say, the experience left the majority enamoured with the country. Upon your arrival, you will receive your travel documents and vouchers, along with our special welcome gifts.
The remainder of the day is yours to unwind and relax after your flight.

DAY 03 – COCHIN
After breakfast, your journey begins with a 4 hour drive to Munnar.
Following breakfast, you'll embark on a personalized guided tour of Cochin, exploring prominent landmarks such as the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, and St. Francis Church. Cochin, nestled amidst islands and promontories, boasts a picturesque setting between the Arabian Sea and the Backwaters. Founded in 1341 following the creation of a natural, secure port during a flood, Cochin quickly became the primary harbour for the spice trade along the Malabar Coast. In the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant cultural scene with a captivating Kathakali dance performance.

DAY 04 – COCHIN TO MUNNAR – Windermere Estate
Following breakfast, you will be chauffeured to the enchanting tea plantation region of Munnar, a scenic journey lasting approximately four hours. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy the convenience of having a driver at your disposal should you wish to explore local attractions. Munnar is nestled at the convergence of three picturesque mountain streams—Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala. Situated at an elevation of 1600 meters above sea level, this hill station was formerly the favoured summer retreat of the British Government in South India.

DAY 05 – MUNNAR
Following breakfast, embark on a personalized guided tour of Munnar, beginning with a visit to the historic Christ Church, constructed by the British in 1910. Explore the Tea Plantation Museum to gain insights into the region's rich tea-growing heritage. Next, venture to the renowned Eravikulam National Park, renowned for its population of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus hylocrious). Later, proceed to the scenic Mattupetty Lake and Dam for a leisurely stroll amidst breathtaking vistas. For trekking enthusiasts, we recommend extending your stay in Munnar by an additional day to visit the Anamudi peak in Eravikulam, standing at an altitude of 2695 meters above sea level, offering exceptional trekking opportunities.

DAY 06 – MUNNAR TO THEKKADY – Spice Village
After breakfast, morning at leisure until checkout, then continue your journey with a drive to Thekkady, the spice region of Kerala and home to Periyar NP (3 hrs) Arrive Thekkady and check in at the hotel.

DAY 07 – THEKKADY
After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat ride on the Lake in Periyar wildlife sanctuary followed by a walk through a spice planation. Later in the afternoon, witness Kalarippayattu, the traditional martial art of Kerala. Your journey through Thekkady is enchanting as the road winds through tranquil countryside, rich plantations & thick jungles.

DAY 08 – THEKKADY TO KUMARAKOM – Coconut Lagoon
After breakfast, drive to the backwaters of Kerala to Kumarakom (3.5 hrs). After arriving at the hotel, the evening is at your leisure. The village of Kumarakom a small village that is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala.

DAY 09 – KUMARAKOM
At leisure to relax or pursue your independent activities. You may like to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary located on the banks of Vembanad Lake, where you may see common as well as endangered species of residential and migratory birds. These include Parrots, Siberian Cranes, Egrets, Darters, Herons, Owls, and Waterfowls. You can explore the 14 acres in a canoe which can be arranged from here.

DAY 10 – KUMARAKOM TO HOUSEBOAT (FB) – Private House Boat
Following breakfast, during the afternoon, you'll embark on your exclusive journey aboard your private Rice Barge or houseboat. Glide through the scenic Punnamada Lake, renowned for hosting the prestigious Nehru Trophy Boat Race. Revel in panoramic views and catch glimpses of life along the tranquil banks. Today's itinerary includes a stop to visit the historic Champakulam Church, dating back 400 years. One night stay is included in your houseboat experience, but we strongly recommend you adding an extra night or two to fully enjoy this experience. Having personally experienced a two-night cruise, we can attest to its unparalleled relaxation and charm, leaving us longing for even more time on the tranquil waters.

DAY 11 – ALLEPPEY TO MARARIKULAM – Marari Beach Resort
After breakfast, you will disembark meet your driver for the short transfer to Mararikulam beach. The rest of the day will then be at leisure to relax. Mararikulam is a beach village in the district of Alappuzha.

DAY 12 – 13 MARARIKULAM
At leisure to relax and explore on your own.

DAY 14 – MARARIKULAM TO COCHIN AIRPORT
We bid you farewell from Kerala and hope the memories last a lifetime.
