After breakfast drive to Amritsar. On arrival at leisure until we depart for Wagah border this evening for the Ceremony. Each evening, just before sunset, soldiers from both countries perform a dramatic and highly choreographed military parade as the border gates are closed for the night. The ceremony is energetic and patriotic, with marching, flag lowering, and enthusiastic crowds on both sides cheering their respective nations. Visiting Wagah Border offers a unique and memorable glimpse into the spirit and traditions shared across this historic frontier.

Visit the Golden Temple and the surrounding area which can only be described as a foodie’s paradise. Must try food includes Amritsari Fish tikka; Seekh kebabs; Chana Bhatura; Saag and Maki di roti. Enjoy a stroll down Paranthe vale gaali (street of breads). Make sure you buy some souvenirs from here to take back home including freshly ground spices.
