Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Day 01

Arrive in Delhi

A warm reception with fresh floral garlands at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Welcome to Delhi, the City of Djinns. In the afternoon, visit Raj Ghat and ride a Rickshaw through the lanes of the Old Delhi market, past the majestic Red Fort** to Jama Masjid.

Day 02

The Monuments of New Delhi

Begin at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and its community kitchen, drive past India Gate, then stop at Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Temple. Continue to Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and a photography stop at Lotus Temple.

Days 03-04

Mughal Agra and On to Jaipur

Drive to Agra for Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-daula and a Marble Workshop. A sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, then on to Jaipur, stopping at Abhaneri for Chand Baori (stepwell) and Harshat Mata Temple. Jaipur is the first planned city of India.

Day 05

Discover the Pink City

Start at Amber Fort, uphill and downhill by jeep, then the stepwell of Panna-Meena ka kund. Stop at Jal Mahal and the Jewel & Carpet Workshops, visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar, then free time in the world-famous Jaipur’s local markets.

Days 06-07

Bundi, Kota and the Badoli Temples

En route to Kota, explore Bundi: Taragarh fort, Bundi palace, Chaurasi kambhon ki Chatri, the Stepwells including Rani Ji Ki Baori, and masala tea at Krishna’s Chai Shop,. Next day, drive to Chittorgarh via the tenth-century Badoli Temple Complex.

Days 08-09

Chittorgarh and the City of Lakes

Explore Chittorgarh Fort- including Padmini Palace, Vijay Stambh, Rana Kumbha’s palace, Kirti Stambh and Kalika Mata Temple. In Udaipur, visit Sahelion-ki-Bari, the City Palace, the Vintage and Classic Car Museum, and take a Sunset boat ride in Lake Pichola to Jag Mandir.

Days 10-11

Ranakpur and Village Rajasthan

Stop at Ranakpur Temple, and its milk-white marble Chaumukha Mandir on the way to your heritage rural stay. The following day, a village walking tour with a local community member offers an unhurried look at authentic rural life.

Days 12-13

Jodhpur, the Dunes and the Golden City

Visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and the Umaid Bhawan Museum in Jodhpur, then continue to the desert camp for the Sand Dunes and a jeep ride to Sunset Point. Next day, the city of Jaisalmer: Jaisalmer Fort, Raj Mahal, Laxminath Temple, Jain temples and the palace museum.

Days 14-17

Havelis, Bikaner and Departure

See Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli, Gadsisar Lake and Vyas Chhatri- before driving to Bikaner for Junagarh fort, The Karni Mata Temple, The National Research Centre on Camel, the Bikaner markets and a local Jain temple. Return to Delhi by Vande Bharat Express.
